We are in the process of building Ghana’s first ever shelter for women. Our shelter will provide comfort, security and assistance for women who are victims of domestic violence.

We began construction in October 2016 with a group of wonderful volunteers and continued with the external walls and roofing in April 2017. By November 2018 we had completed construction of the external walls and rendered the entire building, installed burglar proof bars and doors. By early 2020 we had completed most of the internal wiring, plumbing and fit out. Covid 19 has impacted us in many ways, but undeterred we continue on.

As at September 2022 we have almost completed the build and we are so very close to making our dream of providing safety and security to victims of domestic violence a reality. We have come a long way, fuelled by our vision, plus a ton of love coupled with sheer determination and tenacity.
